Description

Under regular supervision, performs skilled technical work in the fabrication and installation of street signs, instructional or directional signs, and other signs for City use. Work involves creating, installing, and repairing traffic signs throughout the City of Kenner. Reports to the Foreman.

Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by three to six months of experience in graphics, sign fabrication, and/or sign installation and repair;

-OR-

a combination of vocational training and/or paid experience that clearly demonstrates the knowledge and ability to use and maintain tools and equipment related to the work of this positions and an understanding safety procedures while working in traffic related settings.

All candidates must possess and maintain a valid Louisiana Class - D license.
